Sculpture
Selected by Trenton Artists Workshop Association,
Exhibited in Leningrad, 1988. Featured in The Sunday New York Times, 9/20/98.
This piece was actually made after a long night working on a commission. My husband had promised he'd take care of the kids. When I went to wash out my brushes in the kitchen sink, I was greeted with the former evenings mayhem - the kettle, pot, spagetti strainer, and of course baby bottle. So as not to be denied the existence of, I molded them forever using a dry cleaning bag, osteopathic gauze and pearl essence white paint. When my husband took the commission to Trenton, he also absconded with the piece and dropped it off, as a joke, with the card I'd left, My Life Is Just A Poem The judges selected this piece and it traveled to Leningrad for the Grand Opening.
