As the Sabbath light that has enlivened our spirit departs, we elevate our Neshamot (souls) to the sanctity of Kedusha (Holiness) using the powerful connections of the Havdallah candle for light, a cup overflowing with wine, and b'Samin (incense) to trigger our intrinsic memory of the smell of Gan Eden (The Garden of Eden).
